H2Woah: A fun hack reimagines classic games.

Science YouTuber Steve Mould recently stumbled across OpenDrop, a curious 'microfludics' medical device designed for research purposes. Naturally, he quickly got to work on repurposing it, using it for some DIY gaming.

As explained in his video, Steve managed to get crude replicas of classic games working on the device. Including Pac-Man, Crossy Road, and Nokia classic Snake.

It's a super neat experiment, well explained, and the end result is satisfying to watch. Super cool:

If you're a tinkerer, all of the software and code from this fun project is open-source. Steve's also inviting folks to get in touch with their creations. Tetris anyone?

...and no it won't play Doom... yet.
