This is a piss-poor excuse for a controller. The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller makes promises it can’t keep. It’s Nintendo, so I expect namebrand durability. It has Pro in the name, so  I’m expecting performance and longevity.
And then there’s the price tag: $85 pre-tax. That, to me, says I should be able to rely on this controller for at least a good few years. You  might want to stick around for this teardown if you're thinking of spending your hard  earned money on one of these controllers.

iFixit are certainly not mincing their words here. Too many hidden screws, too much adhesives, too much work to just replace the battery.
