You can play Angry Birds on the back of your Xiaomi 17 Pro...if you really want to.
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has revealed its latest line-up of phones, including their own '17 Pro' and '17 Pro Max' (naming conventions you may well be familiar with).
These new flagship smartphones come complete with rear cameras housed on a 'plateau' of sorts — an elevated space which the design teams in Cupertino may find a tad shameless. However, it's not all a blatant facsimile of Apple's latest, as these new Xiaomi devices feature a novel second screen on the rear, placed within the camera bump area.
Xiaomi has shown this new screen being used in a handful of ways, including as a way to display live widgets, or frame your selfies.
The most unusual application though is using this new small-scale screen for playing games. Yep, Xiaomi also revealed a new 'Retro Handheld Console Case' for this upcoming phone, and it's a case that doubles up as a controller of sorts, enabling portable play on the tiny display.

I can't say it looks particularly compelling, with a circular D-Pad and some face buttons positioned around the rather cramped screen — but we will have to wait and see.
Smartphone turned Game Boy?
