Pretty soon, you’ll be able to hold your Switch 2 as wrong as you want, without any detachment.
In all seriousness, now that the solution has been validated in a production environment, we’re in the process of copying the “Solution 2” modification to every other mold in our mass production library. Also, since “Solution #2” doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, we’ve given it a name: Joy-Lock™.
Good to see dbrand reacting quickly to the issues and them having found a solution already.
Also:
Along with every Joy-Lock replacement, we’ll be sending out a set of silicone friction pads, designed to keep the Dock Adapter snugly seated on the OEM Dock. Of course, we’ll also include instructions on where to install them.
I still stand by what I said in my accessory round-up, the Killswitch is the best case currently available for the Nintendo Switch 2. But at least now, I can safely recommend it to people without having to warn them about how they are holding their Switches.
dbrand also announced they will send anyone who already received their Killswitch a pair of fixed grips. And those still waiting for their orders (or who haven't preordered yet) will get the new grips from the get-go.
You can buy the Killswitch for Switch 2 over on dbrand's website.
