Leica just dropped the M EV1

Barely a few hours after I released my X100VI review, Leica decided to drop a new M camera.

And the M EV1 is the first camera in the Leica M line with an electrical viewfinder, which might be considered blasphemous by the community. But damn, do I like it!

Leica M EV1 | Leica Camera AG
The first M-Camera to feature an integrated EVF for convenient, reliable manual focusing.

As for the important specs:

  • 5.76-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder
  • Full-frame 60 MP BSI CMOS sensor
  • Triple Resolution output (60/36/18 MP)
  • Leica Maestro III processor
  • New programmable FN lever
  • Minimalist and compact 484g design

And a price of nearly $9000 (7950€ in Europe) in the US, where it will release later because of regulatory reasons.

Ugh, I want one.
